Frankie Peixoto is the winner of the Mr. Boston Leather 2012 contest sponsored by the Ramrod Boston.  Of five contestants Frankie the crowd favorite took first place and Pup Coby took first runner up during the Mr. Boston Leather weekend on September 9th and 10th, 2011.

On Friday, the Ramrod hosted a VIP Reception followed by the Meet and Greet.  Local leather clubs and community members came out for a social evening to celebrate the New England leather community and to kick off the start of the weekend. The beneficiary for the weekend’s fundraising activities is Waltham House, a group home for GLBTQ teens.

The contest was held on Saturday, September 10, 2011. David Durman, MRBL2011 served as the head judge. The judging panel included Tim White, Mr. Connecticut Leather 2011; Russ Donaldson, winner of Mr. Tri-State Leather 2010; CB Kirby, Mr. NYC Eagle 2011; Alex Lemaire, Mr. Maryland Leather 2011; Sir Daddy Ben Carter, Mr. Southeast Conference of Clubs Leather 2011; and special guest judge Mama Sandy Reinhardt. Mama Sandy surprised five people with pins to become a part of Mama’s Family during the weekend. The contest consisted of four judging categories: Individual interviews, leather image, physique, and public speaking. William Shields, International Bootblack 1994 was the MC for the contest.

Frankie received a leather sash & back patch courtesy of the NYC Leatherman. He will represent the region at the 33rd annual International Mr. Leather contest which will be held Memorial Day weekend 2012 in Chicago. The Boston Ramrod, as the corporate sponsor of the Mr. Boston Leather contest, will provide funds for airfare and lodging.

The Mr. Boston Leather family is thrilled to welcome Frankie to his title and wish him a successful year.
